Product description

This PCOUV air purifier, combining UV lights and photocatalytic filter, offers 1500 square feets of coverage. It’s specially designed for esixting air duct, including air handling unit (AHU), pre-cooling air handling unit, fan coil, by purifying foul air and degrading organic pollutants, supplying fresh and sterilized air all the time for rooms.

Removes musty odors, pet dander, viruses, mold, bacteria, and other airborne pathogens;

Degrading poisonous and harmful gas like formaldehyde, benzene, ammonia .

Irradiates the furnance-air conditioning coils and makes them like new again, increasing air flow and effecience.

Due to high effeciency,easy installation and maintenance, these items have been widely used in shopping malls, airports, gyms, train stations, hospitals, office buildings, etc.

Technologies

UV-C germicidal lamps

Sterilization of ultraviolet rays has been implemented with the characteristics of fast-speed, high-effeciency, broad-spectrum, energy-saving, easy operartion, small size, long service life and low-cost maintenance.

Principles of UV sterilization- Cells have the highest capability of absorption for light waves with 250-270nm. The absorbed ultraviolet ray will work on DNA and react like photosynthesis. The capacity of cultraviolet rays will be absorbed by DNA base pairs, changing and destroying tissue structure (DNA nucleic acids) of microorganisms, leading to the mutation of nucleic acid structure, death of organism or loss of replication capacity, destroying of function, thus achieving the effect of sterilization and disinfection.

It’s been tested that Ultraviolet rays with wave length 240-280nm has the highest efficiency for sterilization, and best with 253.7nm. Through the emission of ultraiolet rays, UV rays with wave length 253.7nm can kill microorganisms within 1-2seconds, including bacteria, virus and fungus. The removal rate for staphylococcus aureus, escherichia coli, pseudomonas aeruginosa and spores of bacillus subtilis var niger can reach 99.99%.

Photocatalytic filter

Photocatalyst, represented by nano-SiO2, is a kind of semiconductor material with photocatalytic function. Photocatalyst uses UV light or sunlight as medium to produce superoxide anion free radical, hydroxyl radical and superoxide hydroxyl radical, which have strong oxidizing ability, can oxidize and decompose harmful organics (formaldehyde, benzene, methylbenzene, xylene, ammonia, TVOCs), pollutants, bad smell and bacteria into harmless CO₂ and H₂O. Photocatalyst has highly effective broad-spectrum disinfection property, can effectively control cross infection of bacteria and virus, control bacteria reproduction. It’s a perfect air purification technology with advantages such as economic, durable, safe, non-toxic, no secondary pollution.

Air purification- hydroxyl radical produced by photocatalyst can destroy the energy key of organic gas molecular,accelarate the decomposition of organic matter or gas, oxidize harmful organics, nitric oxide, sulfur oxide and ammonia; remove bad smell from cigarette, animals, refreshen room air. The excellent capabilities of deodorization, sterilization and pollution prevention have been more and more recognized by people, especially in the treatment of atmospheric environmental degradation, inner-room affection of chemicals by building materials and furnitures,atmospheric pollution by vehicle exhaust, etc.

Anti-mould and mould-proof—Kill bacteria like Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Klebsiella pneumoniae, etc. The bactericidal ability can reach 99.99%, and can effectively restrains pathogenic spreading like entervirus, influenza, ultravirus, etc; objects go mouldy because of fungal growth. Photoctalyst can easily decompose mould.

Stain-resistant and odor removal—photocatalyst can powerfully decompose odor sources, accelarate the decomposition of organics and poisonous gas, improve the air puriciation effeciency.
